BaySys Technologies Announces A340 VIP 1st Flight

ACCOMAC, VA--(Marketwire - July 29, 2010) - Steve Walton, BaySys International CEO and Founder, announced today that BaySys accomplished the successful first flight of the Airbus A340 head-of-state aircraft. The aircraft is going through VIP completion at BaySys Wallops Island, VA facility. The A340-200 aircraft is an ultra-long range variant and will be used as a head-of-state transport. The project consists of a highly detailed interior with numerous state-of-the-art systems and components indicative of the innovative solutions BaySys provides. "This is a critical milestone in the project bringing us one step closer to re-delivery to the client," stated Steve. The aircraft is expected to make several test flights before the client takes delivery of this custom aircraft.

BaySys International, LLC Announces Morocco Joint Venture

Accomac, Va--(Marketwire - June 8, 2010) - Steve Walton, CEO and Founder, announced today that BaySys International signed an agreement with a strategic regional investor to support the development of a VIP Completion Facility in Casablanca, Morocco. Steve indicated that the facility shall provide a much needed capability to the Gulf and Middle East region as well as serving the needs of its European client base. VIP and Head of State aircraft interior completions, interior upgrades and modernizations, flight deck upgrades and aircraft maintenance unique to this client base will be implemented.

Steve is an FAA Structures DER and holds an A&P qualification. Steve will lead a team of engineers who are responsible for primary structures, secondary structures and mechanical systems in support of designs that provide highest level of quality to the VIP and Head-of-State aircraft completions accomplished at BaySys. Steve brings to BaySys more than twenty-five (25) years of professional experience which includes airlines, engine manufacturer, FAA Repair Station and ODA. Local Company Wants Bigger Launching Pad

ATLANTIC, VA--(WBOC - May 25, 2010) - A multi-million dollar company that constructs luxury fittings for planes flying state dignitaries is looking to expand on Virginia's Eastern Shore. "We're working to move into a facility to allow airplanes to be fully enclosed but more importantly to house the airplanes that are twice the size of what we currently have in the hangar," said BaySys International CEO Steve Walton. BaySys is hoping to move into a bigger space and longer taxiway next to its current location at the NASA facility in Wallops, but Accomack County has not given the project a green light yet. "I'm a Virginia boy," said Walton. "BaySys is here because I want to live in Accomack County but the responsibility to the employees and the growth I'm hoping to accomplish is as important to me so we're exploring options." County supervisors will complete the study this year.

Bosque Joins BaySys Technologies, LLC

ACCOMAC, VA--(Marketwire - February 11, 2010) - BaySys International VP Sales Bill Hubbard announced to employees that BaySys Technologies, LLC (BaySys) welcomes Jeff Bosque to the team as VP Business Development. Jeff Bosque brings a depth of knowledge and experience that is rooted in aviation. Bosque is a 30-year industry veteran and recently served as President of Associated Air Center, when it was a Landmark Aviation company. In that capacity he was responsible for overseeing all Associated Air operations and services, including the completions of Boeing Business Jets (BBJ) and Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ). Bosque worked for Associated Air for 17 years, serving as President and Vice President of Sales & Marketing during his tenure. Bosque successfully led infrastructure upgrades and implemented Associated Air improvement in its overall productivity. He initiated the "Sports Team" concept which resulted in increased sales and positioned the company as the largest Service Center for Airbus completions. Prior to his leadership roles at AAC Bosque held positions at Million Air, Corporate Aircraft Consultants and KC Aviation. BaySys Receives Boeing Approval

ACCOMAC, VA--(Marketwire - January 25, 2010) - BaySys International, LLC Founder and CEO Steve Walton announced to employees that BaySys Technologies, LLC (BaySys) executed an agreement with The Boeing Company that licenses BaySys as a Boeing VIP Airplane and Boeing Business Jet Completion Center (BBJ/VIP CC). Included in the agreement are the currently manufactured aircraft, 737, 747-400, 767 and 777 all as well as all model 757s. In addition to the foregoing existing fleet of Boeing aircraft, the agreement will also include the 747-8 and the 787, the newest editions to the Boeing fleet. This latest agreement expands the previous agreement between Boeing and BaySys which established BaySys as a Boeing certified MRO. Steve Walton also said that this accomplishment is perfectly timed as BaySys' near term resources and capacity provide prospective clients with a Boeing Licensed Completion Center at a time when immediate completion center options are limited. Bill Hubbard VP Sales said, "We are poised to assist clients with design concepts that lead to engineering and certification solutions that will satisfy all client objectives and which will lead to timely Airworthiness Authority acceptance." BaySys Interantional, LLC Announces Certification of Boeing 787 Electric Brake

Accomac, Virginia, BaySys International, LLC announces the successful completion of all certification testing of environmental qualification for the Messier Bugatti - Boeing 787 Dreamliner Electro-Mechanical Braking System (EMBS). Messier-Bugatti, part of Safran Group, designed and constructed the Electro-Mechanical Brake System. Messier-Bugatti wheels and carbon brakes are fitted on more than 2,500 commercial aircraft across the world, and its customer list includes 250 airlines and 20 airforces. The company provides support services throughout the world. Combining the experience of BaySys DERs and FAA requirements a series of over two hundred tests and inspections were planned to prove that the design met all performance and safety specifications. BaySys completed a review of and approval of the test plans, coordinated the FAA witnessing of testing, and approved the results for Messier-Bugatti to Boeing. The entire program from early plan to manufacture and then through testing was accomplished in less than 3 years. The BaySys Director of Certification, Nick Olmsted stated, “This was a tremendous project as it deals with the application of cutting-edge technology on the most current design airliner”. The Messier-Bugatti EMBS is the first all-electric brake on a commercial large transport aircraft. BaySys Technologies hosts event recognizing NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility

BaySys Technologies, Accomac, VA, USA. BaySys Technologies hosts event recognizing NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility for its contributions to aerospace research during a historical marker unveiling ceremony at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 22, at the NASA Visitor Center.

NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility was recognized by the Commonwealth of Virginia for its contributions to aerospace research during a historical marker unveiling ceremony at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 22, at the NASA Visitor Center.

Established in 1945 by the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics, Wallops is one of the oldest launch sites in the world. During its 63 year history, Wallops has contributed to both aeronautical and space flight development research.

The nomination of Wallops as a historic site was provided by the Virginia Aeronautical Historical Society and supported by the Virginia Department of Historic Resources and the Virginia Department of Aviation.

The ceremony will include comments by local, state and NASA officials on the Commonwealth’s marker program, a history of Wallops and the contributions of the facility today in Virginia and the surrounding community. Following the comments, the historic marker, located on Va. Route 175 at the entrance to the NASA Visitor Center, will be unveiled.

The event was hosted by BaySys Technologies, Accomac, Va., on behalf of the Virginia Aeronautical Historical Society.

BaySys Technologies awarded FAA Supplemental Type Certificate for Boeing 737 VIP Aircraft Interior Modifications.


BaySys West, San Bernardino, CA, USA. BaySys recently received issuance of STC ST02506NY for multiple interior modifications on the Boeing 737-300 Aircraft.

The airline-to-VIP interior modification project encompassed installation of VIP conference and seating areas, including cabinetry, tables, divans and four-place VIP seating, in-seat power installation, multiple in-flight entertainment and cabin management upgrades, heavy maintenance check, and exterior paint completion. The aircraft was successfully redelivered to the US based client in early February 2008.

BaySys Technologies Redelivers Boeing 737 VIP Aircraft to Las-Vegas-Based Client.

BaySys Technologies Awarded Contract to upgrade SATCOM system on Boeing 767 VIP Aircraft.

BaySys West, San Bernardino, CA, USA. BaySys was recently awarded a contract to install, certify, and activate an AMT antenna system on Blue City Holding's Boeing 767 VIP aircraft. BaySys intends to accomplish this installation against an FAA STC submitted through the FAA New York ACO.

Eclipse Concept Jet Built and Flown at BaySys Wallops Island Facility, Introduced at OshKosh.

Wallops Island, VA, USA. BaySys Technologies is pleased to formally announce it was the "behind-the-scenes" organization secretly selected by Eclipse Aviation and Swift Engineering to assist in the design, engineering, full assembly, and test flight of the ground-breaking new single engine "personal jet" concept aircraft introduced by Eclipse.

Selected for it's extensive engineering expertise and ability to deliver against seemingly impossible deadlines, BaySys worked closely with Swift and Eclipse representatives to move from design concept to first flight in just 200 days.

This innovative V-tail Eclipse Concept Jet (ECJ) aircraft, codenamed "SpeedBird", was completely assembled and test flown by BaySys personnel under tight security at BaySys' Wallops Island location. The extremely aggressive schedule was imposed in order to deliver the ECJ to Oshkosh for the late July EAA AirVenture unveiling.

BaySys Technologies Successfully Manages Completion of Boeing 747SP Exterior Paint Program.
